You never know when inspiration will hit. While at a baby shower at a friends house in Corrales, NM. January, 2011. Even though it was winter, all seasons in NM have something beautiful to offer.

Traditional Ristra’s

This was taken July 4, 2013 while on a hot stroll in Old Town, Albuquerque, NM.

I liked the symmetry of the 3 ristra’s hanging. While us natives take ristra’s for granted, for they are EVERYWHERE, I know that people who don’t live in a region where they are so prevalent, love them.

Window

In the summer of 2011, I went on a lake trip up to Navajo lake in Northwestern New Mexico, up by the oil fields of Farmington. There was a church in the middle of nowhere and I could see this little cross inside this window, high up on an outside wall of the church. The cross wasn’t really that visible til I started working with the saturations and editing choices on my editing software.
